Oops … Ronald!
Today was an “oops day” diet wise. These things sometimes happen. It started with a run to Dunkin this morning and just got worse. By mid-day this happened.
Yup, that was bad … I went out with my dad for dinner too. Oops to the max but nice to eat with family.
Every day is a new day and I came up with a plan to make up for the mistakes of today. It starts with a little bit of torture I call “Tabata Intervals.” Tabata Intervals are HIIT (high intensity interval training) designed to minimize workout time while maximizing workout effect.
The basic plan is this:
- Warm up 4 minutes
- 20 seconds full on, 10 seconds off for 4 minutes
- Cool down 4 minutes while trying to not have a heart attack
Needless to say this workout is INTENSE! The workout will however have the following effect:
- Increase your body’s natural release of HGH and testosterone
- Deplete glycogen stores
- Tear up muscle forcing your body to increase metabolism to repair it.
- Increase in VO2 max, a measure of how efficiently the body uses oxygen
Long story short, it’s a brutal but effective workout. Studies have shown a huge effect in fitness from this short but super intense workout.
The Day Continued …
Continuing throughout the day I’m going to try to go on a “black coffee fast,” through the end of the school day skipping lunch. That’s right, the plan is to burn off the glycogen in the morning, take a couple of Keto pills to raise ketone blood levels in my body, then force the body to burn fats until 3 p.m. or so.
It’s going to be rough but I figure it’s something I need to do given how badly today’s diet went and the upcoming weekend … Killington is tough on the diet, but I must keep going, I’ve got the momentum now and it will help me lose weight with grace, tranquility, and ease, along with unfettered enthusiasm for losing weight.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you found what you were looking for.
